This Returns, Repairs and Refunds Policy only applies to purchases made via FurnitureTrader.com.au (The Furniture Trader Online) only.
For purchases made from one of The Furniture Trader Stores, please see the store regarding that purchase.
The Furniture Trader recommends you read this Returns, Repairs and Refunds Policy prior to making a purchase through The Furniture Trader Online so you are familiar with our policy on returns, repairs and refunds.

A Change of Mind
When making a purchase, be sure to choose carefully as refunds for incorrectly choosing a product aren’t simply refunded. Be sure to make use of the images of the product to be sure you have correctly selected your item before proceeding to check out.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are also worth referring to.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact The Furniture Trader as soon as possible but no longer that 7 days after the delivery has taken place.
Where Goods are already damaged on delivery, The Furniture Trader requires photographic evidence of the damage to be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org before authorizing return of the Goods.
The Furniture Trader will arrange to have the damaged goods returned to our warehouse and either arrange for a replacement of the goods or a refund of the price to you. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals.
Refunds will be made by The Furniture Trader head office via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within fourteen (14) days.
Where The Furniture Trader considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to our warehouse will be at The Furniture Trader’s expense.
Returns and Repairs
You may also contact or attend The Store where you collected your goods, and a Store staff member will assist you with any return or repair. This may include inspecting the goods, arranging for the goods to be sent for repair, or providing you with a replacement.
Goods must be returned within a reasonable time. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.
In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refufrbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
