Bar and counter stools pull kitchen islands and breakfast bars into the living zone - timber, metal and upholstered seats in heights that suit benchtops. Look for stable bases and comfortable footrests for longer sits. Measure your bench height before you buy, then test stool height and swivel in store at our Melbourne superstores in Epping, Dandenong, Hoppers Crossing and Burnside.
